Since incorporated in 1997, R&R Automation has been on a mission to secure all steam process plants in Ottawa and surrounding areas.
As of 2018, R&R has ongoing maintenance contracts with 5 of Ottawa’s major steam and hot water process plants:
-Confederation Heights Heating and Cooling Plant
-Cliff Heating and Cooling Plant
-Tunney’s Pasture Heating and Cooling Plant
-NRC Sussex Heating and Cooling Plant
-NRC Montreal Road Heating and Cooling Plant
Aside from plants in the Ottawa area, R&R has maintained contracts and communications with facilities such as:
-CFB Petawawa Heating Plant, Cardinal Ontario
-CFB Cold Lake, Alberta
-Cardinal Power, Cardinal, Ontario
-Kraft/Heinz, Ingleside, Ontario
Future goals include aiding with the ESAP Program to upgrade the 5 major heating plants in Ottawa. Upgrading the front and back end system at Cardinal Power and continuing to maintain and upgrade the facilities currently on the roster.
